I love how it turned out!

I did a nice little photo shoot yesterday and later found that someone had changed the pixel setting on my camera. I was NOT happy. It turned out to be a good thing, though. Today I took it outside and draped it over the fence and I am very pleased with the photographic results.

In fact I liked the pictures so much I took the opportunity to re-shoot the photos for another quilt that I have listed in my shop.

I’m working like a wild woman to boost my inventory before we get much farther into the holiday-ISH season.

I don’t know why I look like I’m standing weird in this one….oh well.

AND – exciting news. I am selling them on etsy AND at an adorable little shop here in town. I took a few in there a couple of weeks ago and the owner really liked them. She asked me (this is the best part) if I’d like to be the featured artisan (yes she used my favorite word ‘artisan’) in March. I did a fabulous job of standing still and saying, “I think that would work out very nicely.” While, inwardly I was jumping up and down with joy.

Speaking of joy – doesn’t that fabric with the African women on it just make you smile?!

Anyway. I wanted to share that little bit of great news with everyone.
