*sigh* There’s drama with the computer.
Batman was trying to speed up our home computer.
He changed some stuff.
It didn’t work.
He “put things back like they were”. But it isn’t like it was.
My pictures are gone.
G.O.N.E.
Well…that’s not entirely true. I still have 2004 and 2005.
I’m going to eat copious amounts of ice cream and go back to bed.
Oh, that IS nasty! I love how everything stayed away while asking if it was gone yet!! LOL!! We do the same thing in our house when our 80-pound pooch throws up grass.
It sure is a good thing that dogs don’t barf as often as cats.
HAR. I just WISH this had been grass. Just sayin’. *shiver*
I am happy to report that Batman is still my Grand Poobah HERO!! He found all 9000 photos and they have been safely deposited back in their original (easy to find) home.
I’m so good at over-reacting that it’s almost comical.
Oh I am so sorry! I hope that things work out some kind of way. That is a scary feeling!! Sending some positive vibes your way for a better day…..
I’m so sorry. Sometimes that knight in shining armor is a little rusty…..and what started out as a grand escapade in which evil slow hard drives are vanquished, becomes a dreadful tale where nothing is safe from the clutches of a file eating dragon…. who is invisible.
Thank God for ice cream. Personal favorite: cherry chocolate chunk, especially on days like these.
Oh, honey!
I wish there were SOME way these might be restored to you!
I’m so, so sorry!
I am SO sorry. Hope they are found safely on a hard drive somewhere. It is a horror of mine which is why they are backed up three separate places
I just never expected that he’d be so cavalier with my photos… OH, and now we can add iTunes to the list of tragedies that I’m facing.
It was the hard drive that Batman was changing. The better/faster/stronger one – WASN’t and here I sit with my upper lip quivering.
